Career

Bachelor’s Degree in Political and Administration Science (EHU) and Social and Cultural Anthropology (UNED). Master’s Degree in Feminist and Gender Studies (EHU); Postgraduate Degree in Assessment of the Environmental Impact of  Projects (Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, Colombia); Master’s degree in Gender and Development (UCM) and Master’s Degree in International Cooperation and Development (EHU).

Over 25 years of experience in the identification, management and execution of projects, programmes and agreements within the sphere of international cooperation and education for global citizenship. During these years, she has been a team coordinator and manager in different spaces, as well as a member of various boards of directors and boards of trustees. She has been a reference and a focal point for gender and feminisms in several organisations. She has worked for different entities, such as Mundubat Foundation (2013-2025), Félix Baltistán Foundation (2011-2013), AECID Colombia (2006-2008), UNESCO Jakarta-Indonesia (2004-2006) and the organisation Casa Abierta in the Dominican Republic (2022). During the years 2012 and 2013 she did some international consultancy work for the EU, various Town and City Councils, AECID, UNESCO, amongst others. From 2009 to 2011 she was Equality and Immigration Officer for Town Councils like Bermeo and Ugao-Miraballes, as a member of the staff of Tekniker Research and Technology Center.

She also worked for the Hegoa Institute in 2008 as well as several periods between 2009 and 2011. She has been the general coordinator of this organisation since June 2025.

She has participated in a voluntary and active manner in different organisations, such as Parekide Elkartea, Zehar-Errefuxiatuekin and various internationalist and feminist movements at the local-global level. She is the author of various publications and articles on gender issues, feminisms and international cooperation.
