Public service for the promotion of Social Economy in the Basque Country from a market oriented perspective. Proposals and actions. 

On October 4th, 2013, the GEZKI member and specialist at the Basque Observatory for Social Economy, Jon Morandeira Arca, defended his doctoral thesis titled: "El servicio público de fomento de la Economía Social en el País Vasco desde una perspectiva de orientación al mercado. Propuestas y acciones (Public service for the promotion of Social Economy in the Basque Country from a market oriented perspective. Proposals and actions)." Thesis enrolled in the Doctoral Programme on Development Studies, supervised by Baleren Bakaikoa and Victoria De Elizagarate.

The object of this research is to analyse the orientation of public service of the public unit for the promotion of Social Economy in the Basque Country, Direction of Social Economy of the Basque Government, in order to offer proposals and implement actions for the improvement of the unit and, ultimately, to enhance its service and public satisfaction.
