Acción feminista frente a la escalada bélica (28 de mayo)

On 28 May, we will be holding the first session of the Permanent Training Seminar on Feminisms, Conflicts and Human Rights in Bilbao, organised by the Hegoa Institute (UPV/EHU).

In the first session, entitled Feminist Action in Response to Rising Militarisation, we will analyse the discourse and strategic proposals of anti-militarist feminism in local and global contexts of military conflict.

We will be joined by Sanja Pavlovic from Women in Black (Serbia); María Villellas from the School for a Culture of Peace (Autonomous University of Barcelona); and representatives from Basque feminist anti-militarist groups, such as Ana Ribacoba from Women Against War (Vitoria-Gasteiz) and Alicia Suso from Armiarma (Bilbao).

The session will take place on Wednesday 28 May, from 4 to 7.30 PM, at Basoko Etxea (Lehendakari Agirre, 81, Sarriko, Bilbao).
