Biography

Research associate at Hegoa, Institute for International Cooperation and Development Studies (UPV/EHU) and teaching assistant in the Department of Applied Economics (UPV/EHU), at the Faculty of Labour Relations and Social Work (Leioa). She is BA Hons Development Studies and Spanish from the University of Sussex in 2010 and MA in Globalisation and Development from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2012. Her research focuses on transnational migration, diaspora studies, resistance studies and gender and feminist studies, with a special interest in the Middle East and Iran. She is part of the Human Security, Local Human Development and International Cooperation research group of the Basque university system (IT1037-16).
