Biography
Graduate in Physical Sciences. Master’s in International Development and Cooperation (University of the Basque Country). Diploma in Mental Health in Situations of Political Violence and Catastrophes (Madrid’s Complutense University). After three years work in teaching, in 1998 she joined the Jesuit Service Cambodia (1998-2000) as a volunteer. Coordination of the Projects Area of the Alava Association of Friends of Western Sahara (2003-2006). In 2006 she joined the Consultancy Area of Hegoa, leading projects and programmes running training in local economic development; education on cooperation and microloans in the Sahara; Social and Solidarity Economics (SSE) in Ecuador and other countries in the Andean region, linking research and training, public policies and practical experiences of SSE. General coordinator of Hegoa since May 2015.
