Ethnic field, cultural capital and social capital: The case of Young Moroccans in Bizkaia.
On October 21st, 2016 Mikel Barba del Horno defended his thesis titled: “Campo étnico, capital cultural y capital social: El caso de los jóvenes marroquíes en Bizkaia (Ethnic field, cultural capital and social capital: The case of Young Moroccans in Bizkaia)”, enrolled in the Development Studies Programme and directed by Imanol Zubero.
The thesis addresses the life trajectories of young Maroccans who reside in Bizkaia in terms of the investment strategies in cultural and social capital, situated in the context of the ethnic-identity field.
