Stumbling along vulnerability routes: Shadows within the Income Guarantee Subsidy Scheme
The objective of this thesis has been to analyse the ways in which situations of social exclusion amongst people receiving the Income Guarantee Subsidy in the Basque Country.
The applied methodology has been based on eighteen in-depth interviews, carried out with people receiving the Income Guarantee Subsidy with very different situations and family responsibilities.
Two models are presented, starting from the multiple ways in which the diverse areas and factors of exclusion are linked together. Elements that function as points of support in the first one, are transformed into notorious absences in the second one.
