Biography

Degree in Geography and History from the University of Cantabria. She completed the doctoral program in psychodidactics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Education Expert at Hegoa. She has carried out research and developed and shared opinions on education for social transformation. She has also carried out consultancy work for various institutions on master plans and programmes of a pedagogical nature. She teaches in the Master's Degree in Development and International Cooperation (UPV/EHU) and in the University-Accredited Master's Degree in International Cooperation and Emancipatory Education (UPV/EHU).

With the Hegoa Education team, she has organised the five Development Education Conferences that have been held so far (1990, 1996, 2006, 2014 and 2021). From 2014 to the present, she has been developing , together with Justicia Alimentaria, pedagogical programmes to facilitate the incorporation of Critical Education and Feminist Food Sovereignty approaches within the different stages of formal education.
