Biography

Graduate in Journalism and Sociology from the University of the Basque Country, Master’s in International Development and Cooperation (University of the Basque Country) and a Master’s in Gender and Development (Madrid’s Complutense University). She has spent over two decades involved in the process of bringing reflection and experience to the goal of boosting the presence of emancipatory education in different spaces of action. The contributions of critical feminisms, intersectionality and the decolonial project have been inspirational to her in order to continue contributing to other possible worlds. In this direction she has been a member of teams that have advised on and studied education and feminisms, she has participated in organizing education conferences around Spain and currently coordinates the journal Hariak.
