Eco-social workshops: Experiences that educate in the defence of life (4, 10, 11 and 18 December)

Eco-social workshops. Experiences that educate in the defence of life. Addressing the ecosocial approach in the university curriculum, aimed at students, teachers and social groups, will be held on 4, 10, 11 and 18 December (2024) at the Faculty of Education (located in Leioa, Bizkaia Campus, University of the Basque Country).

The workshops, organised by the Hegoa Institute in collaboration with the Faculty of Education of Bilbao (UPV/EHU), the Universidad Surcolombiana (USCO) and the Universidad del Cauca (UNICAUCA), are part of the Articuladxs II project, funded by eLankidetza- Basque Agency for Cooperation and Solidarity.

The workshops will enable participants to: 

  • Increase their capacity to understand the current eco-social crisis and its impact at local/global level, with the help of leading figures in the field.

  • Learn about strategies to contribute to the creation of sustainable societies.

  • Learn about different eco-social experiences promoted in our territory and in other parts of the world (especially in Colombia).

  • Be part of a group that will experiment new ways of incorporating the ecosocial perspective in the university curriculum.
