Pre-registration for the 2026-2027 Hegoa and EHU official master’s programs is about to start
The pre-registration period for the official Master's Degree in Development and International Cooperation and the official Master's Degree in Globalization and Development, both coordinated by the Hegoa Institute and the Department of Applied Economics of the EHU, will openon March 2. The registration period for the online master’s degree in International Cooperation and Emancipatory Education will also open soon.
The University Master's in Development and International Cooperation is aimed at training professionalsin international cooperation for development. Its references are equity and the fight against poverty, human development and sustainability. It includes mandatory curricular internships in projects in Latin America, Africa, Asia or Europe.
The University Master's Degree in Globalisation and Development is aimed at academic specialization: the training of researchers in the phenomenon of globalization and development processes. It is interdisciplinary in nature and is part of the Development Studies tradition. It includes the possibility of extracurricular internships.
In addition to these two official degrees, Hegoa and EHU coordinate the Lifelong learning Master’s in in International Cooperation and Emancipatory Education. This degree is taught through the virtual campus and aims to train people to promote critical development cooperation by strengthening political subjects capable of promoting social justice and emancipatory education.
This online master’s is also offered in a modular format: by completing six or seven courses and a module final project, students can obtain a University Specialization degree in International Cooperation or in Emancipatory Education, respectively.
The three degrees are financially supported by the Basque Agency for Development Cooperation / Garapenerako Lankidetzaren Euskal Agentzia.
EHU Master Week and Pre-registration Process
Pre-registration for the official master’s programs for the 2026/2027 academic year is carried out through this EHU page. For the proprietary master’s program, registration will be done through this EHU page.
On March 3 and 4, there will be an online space to receive more information about the master’s programs. You can register for MasterWeek and connect to the virtual space.
For the Faculty of Economics and Business, the schedule will be from 11:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00 on both days. In addition, a live online chat will be available where you can ask your questions.
