Published the report "Basque development cooperation in figures 2020"

The document offers an overall and harmonized view of the development cooperation activities promoted by the Basque institutions in 2020. The information presented includes disbursed funds in detail and its breakdown by modalities, sectors and geographic areas. The funds allocated to education for social transformation (linked to the concept of global citizenship education) are also indicated, and a breakdown of the channelling entities and local partners that have participated in all these activities is provided.

The data in the report comes from the Portal of the Basque Public Cooperation, which collects Development Cooperation iniciatives promoted by the following institutions: Basque Government; Provincial Councils of Alava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa; City Councils of Bilbao, San Sebastián and Vitoria-Gasteiz; and Euskal Fondoa - Association of Local Basque Cooperating Entities. This is an inter-institutional initiative, accompanied by the Hegoa Institute (UPV/EHU), aimed at promoting transparency, harmonization and coordination in development cooperation.
